Loadouts in CS2 - Guide
Are you confused with the CS2 Loadout system?
Don’t you know what you have to do?
What should you put in your “Mid-Tier”? Should I equip the M4A4 and the M4A1-S?
In this guide, we will talk and explain to you how the CS2 Loadout System works!
But all is up to your choosing! Find the guns you like and use them.
We do not mention every weapon in this article, if you want to see them go to “Loadout”, click on the Category and then on “All X Guns”. (X meaning “Other Pistols”, “Mid-Tier” and “Rifles)
Starting Pistol
This is the easiest one, seeing as you only have the
Glock-18 on T-side.
For the CT-side you can pick either the USP-S or the P2000.
The USP-S can 1-tap enemies without Helmets. The P2k (P2000) can not do this, but it does have
more ammunition than its silenced counterpart.
Other Pistols
For the Terrorists, a Tec-9 with its amazing movement accuracy is a must!
For the Counter-Terrorists, we have the Five-SeveN, seen as it is quite an effective eco weapon/side weapon for the AWP.
We suggest using the P250, the Dual Berettas and the Desert Eagle in both Loadouts.
In case you do not like the Dual Berettas, you can use the CZ75-Auto.
But that is the beauty of the Loadouts in CS2!
If you like a gun, you can just pick it. You are only restricted by the total slots and the team-
the rest like “Deagle or R8” is a thing of the past now.
If you want, you can play the R8 Revolver, Desert Eagle, and the CZ.
Or the CZ and the Tec-9. You are only limited by the sloths, not by the guns you want to take.
CT and T-side own items still apply here.
Here is an example with the CZ, R8, and the Desert Eagle all in one Loadout!
Mid-Tier
This is the biggest category in CS2. Everything that was formerly known as “SMGs” and “Heavy” can
now be found in “Mid-Tier”.
A cheaper weapon for Ecos is quite important.
The MAC-10 and the MP9 are quite good and effective.
And we suggest always picking the powerful Auto Shotgun XM1014 for both sides.
If you want the MP7 or the MP5-SD is up to you.
EVERYTHING is your personal preference in CS2.
The P90 we prefer on the Terrorist side. For quick rushes, nothing beats the ammo capacity and “spray and pray” accuracy of the P90.
For our lovely boys in blue, the MAG-7 is also quite a good pick. This is thanks to its stopping power and its high kill reward.
But what you play is totally up to you. Even if you want to equip the Negev or the M249, but your friends might see this as trolling. Or they will love it.
Under “All Mid-Tier” you can see how many items it are under that category. With all of these Vanilla Guns, you can fill in your five “Mid-Tier” slots. You can only equip one Weapon variant, so no other or different skins in a Loadout.
Rifles
For the T-side it is pretty clear what to pick.
The Galil AR, AK-47, the SG 553. This one is pretty straightforward.
The CTs can have a FAMAS, the M4A4 and the M4A1-S. All of them are insanely good picks together.
It is nice that you can finally equip the M4A4 and the M4A1-S together.
The AUG is also available to trade out any of the guns mentioned here.
Both Loadouts, in our opinion, should have an SSG 08 and the AWP.
If you want to, the Autosnipers (G3SG1 and the SCAR-20 respectively) are also available.
But many players do not have them equipped, and it is a mighty weapon to fall into the hands of your foes.
