Scorched: Black Gem
We start with the Scorched finish knives, which have a really rare pattern which is called the ‘black gem pattern’, known to have a clean black slate instead of the normal mixed scorched palette. This rare pattern is not present in most knives, for example, one of the only knives which is known to have this ‘black gem pattern’ is the stiletto knife. The tier 1 patterns to have this Black Gem are patterns: 543, 791 and 980. (These all share first place and are not ranked) This Black Gem finish perfectly fits with any black-themed inventories, but due to its rareness, it might be expensive.

With a similar style as the Scorched finish ‘Black Gem’, the Urban Masked has the ‘White Gem’. This incredibly rare pattern has the whole knife, from tip to handle covered in a completely white color. The pattern for the ‘White Gem’ is 402, and is currently the only known tier 1 or number 1 pattern.

Freehand
The Freehand finish is a painted black and purple base with doodles on top of it. If you didn't know already, if we look at the texture pattern of the Freehand, the purple part of the Freehand spells out the word ‘Stealth’. Regarding rare patterns for the Freehand, it's about the coverage of the doodles. Many people think it's too much and it's messy or many people think it's a nice touch. In this case, for the Bowie Knife. There are many rare patterns which have more purple than grey doodles, for example, pattern 22 is 65% purple and in the other case, there is another pattern, 713, which has way more grey doodles covering the Bowie Knife.

A really popular and expensive finish is the one and only Doppler finish! Split across different Phases, such as Phases 1,2,3,4 and the more rare and expensive ones Sapphire, Ruby and Black Pearl. Even though the Sapphire, Ruby and Black Pearl are rarer, we won't be focusing on those, but instead on the super unique
‘Pink Galaxy’ pattern. As the name suggests, this pattern is from phase 2 and looks like a chrome-pink cosmic galaxy. However, due to its very popular demand, the skin itself is more expensive than normal phase 2 patterns. Using coco and s1rkus’s guide (which you can find here), we can conduct that the best pattern, in other words, tier 1 patterns for the Doppler Phase 2 Pink Galaxy are 350, 748, 623, 239, 495, 682, 987, 565.

Gamma Doppler: Diamond Gem
Gamma Doppler Phase 1 has a very unique rare pattern finish which is called the 'Diamond pattern'. This finish transforms the green, purple and blue into a predominantly only diamond-blue color on the knife. This finish sticks out against the other Gamma Dopplers due to its blue color which contrasts with the Gamma's green finish. These Diamond patterns are mainly found in Phase 1, and the karambit is the best example of this. The best pattern with the most of this diamond blue finish is pattern index 547. Especially in lighting thanks to the new Source 2, this finish will look even more blue and brighter.
