New Partner: ‘zteeek’
Welcome, Kevin “zteeek”!
We are pleased to announce the partnership with Kevin “zteeek” Rohurand!
Kevin brings his experience in regard to CS:GO, tournaments, and LAN events!
The Estonian player has quite a few wins from local events under his buckle. His time now is spent mostly by posting CS:GO clips to his social media and streaming CS:GO in his free time when there is not a tournament to win right now.
From a few tutorials to insane plays and also fun shenanigans you can find everything on his socials!
The 23-year-old Zteeek has been playing (and winning) in local LAN events in Estonia since 2016.
Kevin and his teams are placed in comfortable places on the podium, often in the Top 5, more than not in the Top 3!
With total hours above 12,800 in CS:GO we can expect a lot from the FaceIt level 10 Estonian player!
Get to know Zteeek:
When did you start playing CSGO and why did you get into it?
For some reason I remember this so well - the first time I played it was in 2014, March.
I was a high school student and all of my classmates started playing it so I just hopped on the bandwagon
Highest ranks?
I achieved Global Elite back in 2015, May. After that I've mainly only played FACEIT - my elo peak has been 4336. Haven't played much of Esportal at all.
For those who do not know:
You are a FaceIt level 10 once you gain an Elo of 2001+! So having an Elo of 4300+ is quite high and hard to reach!
How many Tournaments have you won and which one was the biggest achievement in your eyes?
I've won my fair share of tournaments, most of them being local ones here in Estonia.
My personal biggest achievement is winning Estonia's biggest LAN at the time, PlayFair, where we were not even the favorites or even considered a top 3 team, but we came in and surprised everyone.
Kevin and his team won this tournament as top placed team and won the prize pool of 1250€!
Who are your favorite CSGO players and your inspiration?
To be honest, I don't think I have anyone, I respect every pro equally. But if I really had to choose, then probably ropz since he's the only prodigy we have from Estonia.
What is your advice to new players, or players who want to become more professional?
Well the obvious one is to work hard - play Death Match, watch demos, and try to analyze the way you play. One good tip IMO is to always play with better players, your improvement will skyrocket.
Try to get out of your friend circle and put yourself in uncomfortable situations, it will mould you to be a better player in the long term. Also, STOP WASTING TIME!
I remember being 18 and thinking I have so much time, but now I regret not pushing myself and putting in more work.
Who knows where I would be right now?
What role do you prefer playing? With what role did you start out?
I want to call myself a versatile rifler. I mainly like to lurk/support.
When I started my career then I mostly played whatever the team needed, so I would AWP / IGL or whatever, but over the years after the scene has improved a bit, I've also kind of found my place.
What is your favorite skin combo?
Karambit | Doppler (Ruby) & Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono. Crazy to think I will probably never own it :D
Here is what this awesome and valuable combo looks like:
How did you find out about GamerPay?
The first time I heard about it was through NIP socials somehow, but I really got into it after GamerPay sponsored one of Baltic's FACEIT hubs.
What made you decide to use and try it for yourself?
I got a good placement in the FACEIT hub and therefore won some vouchers. Went on GamerPay to buy some skins and quickly realized how well thought out it is. Truly a pleasant experience.
What was your first GamerPay purchase/sale?
First purchase: ★ Classic Knife | Blue Steel (BS) - for my live stream giveaway.
I remember this being the first knife giveaway I hosted.
First sale: AK-47 | Bloodsport (WW), got rid of it since I was really hyped about the new AK-47 | Ice Coaled so I decided to get that instead.
What do you think GamerPay does better than other market sites?
A lot of things, but I think the main ones are low fees & zero risk of getting scammed.
Also I personally really admire the community behind GamerPay.
Favorite CS:GO skin?
The First thing that came to mind is the AWP | Asiimov.
A good old classic, I guess it's the boomer in me haha.
3 Quickies: Cats or dogs? / Favorite Game? / Worst Movie?
1 - Cats or dogs?
Both, I love animals :D
2 -Favorite Game?
CS:GO
3 - Worst Movie?
Eh, I don’t know, I don't watch that many movies. I'm more into shows.
